Something broke again, but is running again.
No idea why this happened, but I'm changing the server -> ssl = https so that may had a side effect.

Right now I fixed V 1.72 on the server side that was unable to complete the login.

For example the LHC subproject ATLAS uses it.
For now it's an item, when I stumble upon a solution, I will implement it.

This could also solve the issue about people or companies complaining about high power bills :)

I am still reluctant to run boinc on my laptop due to noise, and if cpu/gpu gets throttle, some of the applications do not fully continue where they left off.
I think this is too specific to your needs to implement.
This is something the CPU or OS should handle and probably in some ways will.

You posted in BoincTasks, but is more related to TThrottle.
Whatever you do BOINC always uses electricity and wil cost money.

Questions / Re: sidebar project selection bug
« on: June 13, 2017, 06:44:35 AM »
Anytime I am adding (possibly removing also) projects to my hosts I get blank project selection on the side menu. The only way to get them to disappear is to close the program and open it again.
Will rewrite the adding and removing of projects

Tested.
Seems to only happen when you click on a project that you just added and isn't fully added yet.
This hangs the context menu in v 1.72.

Fixed in soon to be released V 1.73.

Just upgraded to Version 1.72 and after I add a project, I can't Right-Click on any of the projects in the current list anymore on ANY system.  It starts working again after I restart BOINCTasks...
Indeed, weird and only in the Projects tab, the Tasks tab works OK.

I added it to the bug list.

You need to install Virtualbox for VM workunits, there´s a BOINC installer which have Virtualbox already included (https://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php) or you install VB separately.

So once installed correctly and you run a Virtualbox workunit in the original Boinc manager you then have the task option to show the console.
I know, but the BOINC Manager doesn't show the task option in the default installation.
I have a  LHC@home   LHCb Simulation (vbox64) running.
Will dig a bit deeper in the BOINC Manager source code.

That said, I see that the BOINC Manager doesn't support the VM console out of the box.
So far I haven't been able to find the VM console at all on Windows 10.

duchamp Sourcefinder is a vbox only project, but also in the other projects you can select to only receive vbox work.
OK found it, thanks.

Questions / Re: Cannot connect o local network clients
« on: May 31, 2017, 06:13:11 AM »
I had both IP and Mac Addresses showing up for the local computers.
After removal of the Mac addresses, so  only operating on IP's it is working allright now.

Great tool. Thanks very much  for building and maintaining BoincTasks!
Can you check the lines Get localhost IP in the BoincTasks log and see if that's indeed the address of local network.
