Use the next settings and menus ONLY when you know what you are doing, much can go wrong and the error checking is limited.
CC_CONFIG
To edit cc_config.xml on a computer, click on the computer tab and select a computer.
If the computer is connected, the icon Edit cc_config.xml is shown on the bottom of the screen.
Click on the icon and you get the current cc_config.xml file of the selected computer.
Only use update when you know what you are doing.

Press Update and the text is written to the cc_config.xml file and the cc_config.xml file is read by the BOINC client.
APP_CONFIG
To edit app_config.xml for a project on a computer, click on the project tab and select a project on the right computer.
Now click on the icon Edit app_config.xml and you get the current app_config.xml file of the selected computer.
It here isn’t any file you get the message app_config.xml not found.
If you press update the process is irreversible, meaning that you won’t be able to delete the app_config.xml file remotely.
You will end up with at least a default app_config.xml file.
Only use update when you know what you are doing.
