How to use BoincTasks M

Once you have set up the computers with BOINC and a fixed IP address, you are ready to continue.

Add computers

Automatically:
Press and select Find Computers.
Initially the Add permissions screen is shown, now click on location and click on Allow only while using the app.
This permission is needed to optain the local IP address.
If you don’s see an IP address, press cancel and try again.

If the IP address is blank, enter an IP address from the local network.

Next press Find and wait untill the scan completes.
After a few minutes the Found computers dialog is show.
Press add to add the found computers to the list.

Repeat if you have computers connected on another port.

If this fails:
Press and select Add computer.

Modify a computer

Select Computer.
Now select a computer and make the changes.

Remove a computer

Click on the computer you want to remove.
Uncheck Enabled and press Delete.

Switching tabs

Select and select a tab, This option is only available if you have at least one connected computer.

Tasks

You can select a task by clicking on it.

Tasks are combined in a filter item, shown as Filter with a number.
Press on a Filter to show the combined tasks.

To e.g. pause, for example, a task press on followed by Suspend or use .

Sorting

1 ▲ ▼ Sort first, selected by pressing on the header.
2 ᐃ ᐁ Sort last, selected by long pressing on the header.

Sort by priority first (1) and last (2).

Adjusting header width

Select and choose Adjust header width.

Now, go to the tab you want to adjust.
Press on the header item and move it left or right.

When you are finished, uncheck the Adjust header width check.

BoincTasks settings:

Select and choose BoincTasks settings
Set the refresh time or enable the debug mode, to log more information.

Set the color

Select and choose Set color.

Change the color to your liking.

Logging

Select Show low or Show error log.
